This Policy explains what data YakBuildHQ (Yakware Ltd) collects and how we use it.

Data we collect

Account data — name, email, organisation, role, authentication identifiers.
Customer Data — projects, field notes (including photos, GPS location, voice transcripts and weather), daily reports, time entries and documents you create.
Usage data — log and device information needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use it

To provide the Service (storing and displaying your project records), to generate the documents and digests you request, to support and secure your account, and to bill paid plans. We do not sell your data.

Storage & processors

Data is stored on encrypted database hosts; uploaded files (photos, documents) are stored in private cloud object storage. We use Stripe for payments, a mail provider for transactional email, and a speech-to-text provider for optional voice transcription. Each processes data only to perform its function.

Retention & deletion

We retain Customer Data for the life of your account. On request or on account closure we delete your Customer Data within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention obligations. You can export your data at any time.
